HOW TO PROPERLY CLEAN YOUR BRUSH AFTER PAINTING
CLEAN AFTER EVERY USE: Always clean your brush immediately after each painting session. Allowing paint to dry on the bristles can damage the brush and affect its performance.
AVOID SOAKING IN WATER: Never leave your brush sitting in water, even for a short time. This can warp the handle and loosen the ferrule.
FOR ACRYLIC PAINTS: Wipe off as much paint as possible, then rinse the brush under warm running water while gently massaging the bristles to remove any remaining paint.
FOR OIL PAINTS: Wipe off excess paint thoroughly, then clean the brush using an artist-grade, odorless solvent until no paint remains.
FOR WATER COLOR OR GOUACHE: Rinse the brush with warm water until the water runs completely clear.
DRYING YOUR BRUSH: Always lay your brushes flat to dry. Drying them upright can cause water or paint to seep into the ferrule, which may loosen the glue and damage the brush over time.
