Fontaine is a premium 100% cotton and acid-free paper produced at the Schut Mill. The surface of this paper has undergone a proprietary gelatin sizing process that helps to deliver extraordinarily brilliant colors. 
 
Thanks to its high absorption capacity, Clairefontaine Fontaine Watercolour Paper is perfect for watercolour, but it can also be used for gouache, ink or acrylic. Minor alterations can be made using an eraser. 
 
Clairefontaine Fontaine Watercolour Paper is warp-resistant even when wet. It is an exceptionally easy paper to work with.
