GOLDEN Acrylic consists of Fluid Acrylics,High Flow Acrylic and Heavy Body Acrylic series.  Each series has its features.

Heavy Body: There are no fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners, or dyes added. Color formula reflects the qualities of its pigment. Colors that tolerate a higher pigment load dry to a more opaque, matte finish.

Fluid Acrylics: Have the same pigment load as the Heavy Body Acrylics, but in a viscosity similar to heavy cream. Fluids allow for smooth flowing applications while retaining color intensity, tinting strength, film integrity, and adhesion.

High Flow: From fine lines to broad strokes, High Flow Acrylic has an ink-like consistency that lends itself to a wide range of techniques, including staining, leveling, calligraphy, and mixed media.

The unique formulation accentuates the luminosity and brilliance of pigments even after drying. QoR provides the subtlety, transparency and flow of a great watercolor, with colors that have as much vibrancy and fire as the best acrylic or oil paint.

Choose from 83 high-intensity colors, including three Iridescent colors. The addition of QoR Mediums and Grounds can increase gloss, improve flow or wetting and provide different textured surfaces, to expand the creative opportunities in watercolor painting.

Williamsburg Handmade Oil Colors are used by the world's finest artists whose work can be found at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and MOMA in New York, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, and the Beaubourg in Paris.

So much of the quality of oil paint is in the grinding. Each color is ground to enhance the beauty and luminosity specific to that particular pigment. Some colors will feel slightly gritty; others extremely smooth.

Our Cerulean Blue will have a beautiful velvet, light-absorbing surface with an extremely strong covering power; Our Siennas will often be chunky or gritty to allow light to travel through the vehicle, exposing rich golden or mahogany undertones instead of just heavy, dull browns.
